Welcome to Twinkletoes !
I have danced all my life, I trained at with Isobel Dunn in York from the age of 3, and then at the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts in London. I worked as a professional dancer and performer abroad and on cruise ships. On returning home I now have a day job as a qualified accountant, but the love of dance was too strong so I have performed in York on numerous occasions (most recently at the Theatre Royal) and I began to choreograph, and also teach, gaining teaching qualifications with the International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA).
Twinkletoes is in its early days, and I hope it will continue to grow, and that all my students will learn, enjoy and love dance as much as I do !
Welcome to Emma-Jane Smith-Howe our new student teacher.
Emma-Jane trained in Scarborough and is currently studying towards her IDTA Tap Dance Qualification.
